Centre - Molinetto della Croda

ACCESSIBLE CYCLING AND WALKING PATH

This itinerary is designed to allow everyone, including certain categories of users with reduced mobility, to discover one of the most evocative places in the Refrontolo area in a peaceful and accessible way.

This is a gentle route, with moderate slopes and even surfaces, connecting the heart of the village – the town square – to the famous Molinetto della Croda, an authentic architectural gem surrounded by nature.

The route winds its way through rural landscapes, neat vineyards and small streams, offering encounters with the tranquillity and harmony of the hilly landscape at every turn.

Along the way, you are accompanied by the scent of vegetation and birdsong, in an environment that seems suspended in time.

The route starts from the square in Refrontolo, a welcoming meeting point where you can find dedicated parking spaces, a drinking fountain and benches for a short break.

From here, continue along an easy, well-marked trail to Molinetto, where you will be greeted by a unique sight: an ancient mill nestled in the rock, with a water wheel turning slowly to the rhythm of the Lierza stream. Here, history and nature come together in perfect harmony.

The site has shaded areas, accessible facilities and panoramic rest areas, ideal for a relaxing break or an open-air picnic.
This route is not just a connection between two points: it is an invitation to slow down, look around and experience the area in an inclusive, authentic and conscious way.

Whether you are a nature lover, history buff or simply a traveller in search of beauty, the walk to Molinetto della Croda will give you simple yet profound emotions.
