UNESCO hills
The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene stretch across the foothills of the Veneto region, a cultural landscape unique in the world, added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2019.
This area covers approximately 20,000 hectares and has been shaped over the centuries by heroic viticulture, often carried out by hand on steep slopes, in a visual mosaic of vineyards, woods, small villages and natural terraces.
The area stands out not only for the excellence of its flagship product – Prosecco Superiore DOCG – but also for the balance between environment, culture and agricultural tradition, where human intervention has been carefully and respectfully integrated into the natural context.
It is in this setting that Refrontolo is located, a small hilltop town that represents one of the most authentic examples of this rural identity and landscape.
Nestled between cultivated slopes and centuries-old woods, this authentic and peaceful corner of Veneto tells a long story of skilled agriculture and a deep connection with the land.
